Aboard the AERRIA-ONE, he gathers signals and follows them across distant worlds and forgotten eras. He is the voice heard at the beginning of every journey, the chronicler who records what the crew discovers, and the navigator who brings the ship home.

Lyra is a Sonari — born on a world where sound is visible, melodies paint the sky, and silence is the only true darkness.
She reads frequencies the way others read faces. Emotions hidden inside static, stories buried in noise — she finds them all. It was Lyra who first decoded the true nature of Celeste’s signal, hearing a woman’s voice where the instruments registered only data.
When she sings, visible sound waves ripple outward from her body. For her people, singing is not performance. It is how they speak their deepest truths.

Rael is a Sonari, like Lyra — but where she reads signals, he navigates through them. He finds routes through acoustic storms that would destroy conventional sensors and maps sound fields the way ancient sailors mapped the stars.
He speaks little and acts quickly. When he sings, the guarded navigator becomes raw, honest and vulnerable.
Rael joined the AERRIA-ONE with Lyra after Captain Luminar became trapped inside an acoustic anomaly. Rael navigated them out blind, trusting nothing but his own hearing.

PIP
SIGNAL TRACKER
Nobody knows where Pip came from. During an early expedition, he simply floated aboard the AERRIA-ONE and refused to leave.
Captain Luminar stopped trying to shoo him away when it became clear that Pip could sense signals before the ship’s instruments detected them. He communicates through short melodic phrases that the crew has learned to understand intuitively.
A rising arpeggio means joy. A falling minor chord means sadness. A sharp staccato means danger. When someone aboard is troubled, Pip comes close and hums a small melody of comfort.
